Blargh!!
So I'm no longer employed.

The short story is that the supervisor I got switched to back in May-ish decided that the way I'd done my job since I started working there wasn't up to her standards. I didn't change what I was doing, so she took the steps necessary to get me canned.

Partly because I didn't care terribly and partly because I'd hoped to be gone from there by now anyway, I didn't do anything to stop this. I probably should have quit voluntarily a week or so ago when the writing on the wall was getting a lot clearer. Oh, well.

On the plus side, I got a call/phone interview not long after I got home for a promising job possiblity. Hopefully this pans out!! As fallbacks, I've got a promising lead on starting to teach at Kaplan again, and I signed up with an agency, so hopefully the financial fallout will be minimized.
